The idea of designing exoskeletons to take load off workers is nothing new. We have covered a bunch of them here in the past. The StreamEXO by Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia is designed to assist railway workers with maintenance and renewal operations. It reduces risk of muscle fatigue and physical overload.

This back support exoskeleton supports the workers during lifting and load carrying activities. It has a battery that lasts up to 6 hours.
