It is a soft robotic garment that can be worn around the hips and thighs. This robot provides a gentle push to the hips as the legs swing and prevents freezing, which are a typical cause of fall for Parkinson’s sufferers.

Researchers from Boston University and Harvard are behind this. This robot allows patients to walk without any special training. With assist on, it uses smart algorithms to analyze data collected by sensors to generate assistive force in tandem with muscle movements.
