This is the Ringbot: a monocycle robot that has legs. It is inspired by vehicles in science fiction films. It uses its two legs to move around and change direction. It has two independent driving modules inside. The driving module motors can make full rotation inside the wheel.

This monocycle robot can go at speeds up to 5 km/h. As you can see in the above video, the legs help the robot recover its balance.
