Plenty of robots are teleoperated in challenging environments but there are various limitations to this approach. This video shows how mixed reality can be used to enhance the efficiency of humanoid robot teleoperation. By combining user motion with autonomous features, robots can get the job done with human-like motion.

As you can see in the above video, the robot can punch a target when the user simply initiates a portion of the punching technique.
