Magnetically Actuated fiber-based Soft Robots
Here are soft tiny robots that can be controlled by a weak magnet. Scientists in Polina Anikeeva’s lab at MIT’s McGovern Institute made these robots from rubbery magnetic spirals. They can be programmed to walk, crawl, and swim. This can be accomplished with a magnetic field.
