CIAM Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Docking with Mobile Station
Monitoring underwater facilities such as oil and gas pipelines is a whole lot safer and easier with robots. Autonomous underwater vehicles are already being used for this. They are mainly deployed and recovered by larger ships.
CIAM is a projector about a new generation of AUVs that don’t require additional ships. When these robots run out of power, they are charged through an autonomous charging station that dock independently.
