Drones can be used for all kinds of missions but they do have a limited battery life that hinders them in long-range operations. AutoCharge is an autonomous charging solution for quadrotors that relies on a portable ground station with a flexible lightweight charging tether that can keep drones charged. It uses magnetic connectors that are orientation agnostic.
