Robotic dogs are capable of doing many things for us. They can come specially handy in inspection of plants and other challenging environments. They will have to open and traverse doors though. This video shows a learning-based controller for a legged manipulator that enables these types of robots to handle push and pull doors. It was used on ANYmal and had up to 95% success rate.
